It was so good last night to see all the passionate wedding suppliers from Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas make it to the Reef House in Palm Cove to hear about new wedding industry updates, meet new wedding suppliers that have moved to our beautiful destination and to just have some fun catching up together.
The wedding industry here in Cairns is a year round rollacoaster and it is so hard to arrange to have many of these nice get togethers during the year so when we do manage to do so its nice.
Colin and Jen from Mod Vidoes gave a great presentation on a fab new video they did for Colyn at Lovegreen Photography and spoke about the one they are doing for www.registeryourwedding.com.au and one for Louise from Dynamic Weddings. Colin spoke about how important it is to have videos on your websites home page telling visitors all about your business as people would rather watch a four minute presentation rather than read a wordy website page.
Some of the new wedding suppliers to move to our region stood up and introduced themselves to the group and they were all given a warm welcome by all.
Nicholas stood before the crowd and gave them all an update on Register Your Wedding and asked all of the suppliers to go to the home page of the website and register themselves as a wedding supplier and upload the details of their business in the sites secure pages as we have 145 lovely couples in the process of planning their weddings this year and into the next.
We all look forward to another big wedding year and “Spreading the Love” to everyone
From the team at Register Your Wedding

Well it is going to be one of the biggest bridal fairs we will have visited this year to date when the Queensland Brides Wedding Expo hits the town of Brisbane on Friday 30th March with an opening time of 5.30pm and closing time of Sunday 1st April at 4.00pm.
There will be over 170 wedding and honeymoon experts on hand to talk with our couples and there are fabulous fashion parades, prizes and demonstraions going on over the three days. This is billed to be Queenslands biggest bridal wedding expo and fair so book your tickets and get on down to Brisbane ladies. Take your mum and your girlfriends and enjoy a fun weekend in the big smoke wineing, dining, shopping and attending the Queensland Brides Wedding Expo.
Have fun and don’t forget to upload your engagement announcements on www.registeryourwedding.com.au
Another reason for a destination wedding. Weddings go by in a flash. At a traditional wedding it can be quite stressful running from table to table trying to catch up with everyone … a destination wedding usually spans 3 – 4 days so plenty of time to enjoy the company of your nearest and dearest…Posted by sara in Wedding Talk
The advantage of having a destination wedding in such an idyllic place like Palm Cove or Port Douglas is that it doubles as your honeymoon. Spolit for choice by luxurious accommodation, surrounded by natural beauty such as world heritage rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef – we can see why so many couples are choosing these destinations for their weddings.Posted by sara in Wedding Talk
Great news for the wedding industry in Cairns and Tropical North Queensland!
Since the launch of the new Register Your Wedding website we now have 133 couples who have registered to hold their nuptials in Cairns, Palm Cove, Port Douglas and other surrounding regions for 2012 and 2013 and even one or two for 2014.
The word is finally spreading thru the wedding suppliers, digital marketing, social marketing, signage, Google adwords, bridal expos and signage in prominent places around the region.
Couples can finally go to one website and find all of the wedding suppliers, wedding venues, accommodation, tours and everything else to do with planning a wedding and have some fun building their own website pages and conversing with their invited guests via their social pages on their private website .
Register Your Wedding has now made it so much easier for all couples to plan their wedding, whilst also showcasing the regional wedding suppliers in a one stop shop wedding website.
If you are in the wedding industry please ensure you scroll to the bottom of the home page of www.registeryourwedding.com.au and fill in the Suppliers Registration Form and we will have you listed on the website in no time.
Cheers Spreading the Love xoxoxoPosted by Christina in Wedding Talk
